Sabarimala Temple Darshan Timings 2015-16 Pilgrimage Season



Sabarimala is one of the most visited Hindu pilgrimage center located in south part of Kerala state. Its the largest annually visited pilgrimage in the world. As per the Hindu believes Sabarimala is the place where Ayyappa (Son of Mohini and Shiva) meditated after killing the demon Mahishi. Sabarimala is located in Perunad panchayath of Pathananthitta District and its surrounded by 18 hills. Sabarimala Temple has a season for pilgrims, its starts on 1st of Vrishchikam (Malayalam Month), that would be almost at the middle of the Novemeber. And the season ends on the Makaravilakk. This will be in January. Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple has a definite Darshan Timings with the opening time at 4am and closing at 11 pm.



The Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple in Kerala is open for Darshan only during certain specific periods in a year. Here is the Sabarimala Temple Darshan Timings 2014 - 15 - 16
